What does it mean to touch
To close the distance
Or fill the space
To make a Friend
Or really piss off a friend
To wallow in both knowledge yet uncertainty
Touch is why we are
Who we are
What we are
To find solace in a face we’ve seen before or a face we won’t see again
Touch connects us, detaches us
Saves us, condemns us
What does your touch mean to me
What does my touch mean to you
Should it mean something
You don’t know me so no,
Or you do so yes,
Or you do so no,
Or you don’t so yes.

This projects aim is to place people in a more childlike state and surrounding in order to encourage people to revaluate the influences society has had on how they learnt to interact through touch, specifically the damage that societies oversexualisation of touch. By the end of the performance you will hopefully have a new outlook on what touch can do for you and the relationships.
