want to hold my hand? is a playful installation that encourages people to make consensual, physical touch.
About
want to hold my hand? is a playful installation that encourages people to make physical contact in a public setting. The COVID-19 pandemic prohibited physical contact, but this project aims to bring it back with playful, consensual touch.
Individuals connect through physical touch and receive a thermal receipt as a token of their touch. The receipt can be kept, or pinned on the board, creating a sense of community and shared experience.
This innovative project promotes consensual touch in a public space, breaking down barriers and promoting connection.
