Rhea is a corset that has been developed to relieve endometriosis pain using a combination of heat and compression.

In the UK alone, around 1.5 million women and those assigned female at birth suffer from endometriosis. The disease consists of tissue similar to the lining of the womb (uterus), growing elsewhere in the body (e.g. ovaries and fallopian tubes), causing inflammation, pain and the formation of scar tissue. Endometriosis has no cure and can cause significant impact on a person's life.

The corset looks to target pain specifically in the abdomen and lower back. First offering immediate relief through reusable heat pads, that work through an exothermic reaction. The heat naturally increases blood flow, working to relax the muscles. Longer term relief is then achieved by the corset structure exerting pressure on the peritoneal organs, reducing uterine contractions for an extended period of time. Rhea offers a convenient wearable solution that brings confidence in public, unlike current options on the market. Adjustability and comfort are at the core of the design, exhibited in the carefully considered material choices.

Rhea works to help make every day easier for people living with endometriosis, offering a drug free solution to the crippling pain.
