Outlook on the web or ‘New’ Outlook desktop app

  • Click on the Report button on the top menu bar.
  • Alternatively, you can also right-click the message and select the pop-up menu option: Report > Report phishing.

Outlook mobile app

  • Open the message and tap the three dots (...) at the top menu bar, choose the Report junk option, then tap Phishing and confirm.
  • Alternatively, open the message and tap the three dots (...) to the right of the subject line.  Tap the report message button and choose Report as phishing.

Other email apps

If you're using an email client other than Outlook, move the message to your junk or deleted items folder to reduce the chances of interacting with it.  To report the phishing email, start a new email to phish@office365.microsoft.com  and include the phishing email as an attachment.

You can also forward an email or screenshot you suspect may be a phishing email to report@phishing.gov.uk
