Maella A Wallace
The collection of work continues to explore manual ways of working, to sensitively contribute to an installation which examines ceremony.

A traditional approach to textiles is at the root of my current practice although I have spent the last year experimenting with ceramics to further explore my concepts. Through a commitment to colour and shape, the two materials have allowed me to expand my vision. 'Ceremony' draws inspiration from community and heritage but specifically grief and the management of loss.
