This module will introduce the economic principles relevant to the energy sector. It will highlight some of the most challenging economic issues facing the global energy complex. It will also cover sustainable development.

You will learn how economic analysis informs the debates on energy and climate change issues. You will also learn how economics research affects energy-related decisions made by the industry or the government.
