Biography

Felippe de Medeiros Oliveira is an accomplished researcher in Organizational & Management with a wealth of practical experience across various industries. With fifteen years in multinational enterprises (MNEs), six years as a lead advisor for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and over six years in academic roles at business schools, his career trajectory is marked by a dedication to enhancing organizational excellence. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including food & beverage, automotive, education, and professional services. Felippe's academic pursuits began with a Master of Science in Strategy from Insper in 2011, followed by a PhD in Management from Bayes Business School at City, University of London. His commitment to academia is complemented by ongoing consultancy work.

Research

Felippe's research interests center on organizational change and managerial practices, viewed through the lens of social choice. He explores themes such as collective decision-making, community-based organizing, social movements, and the integration of responsible principles into management and organizational sociology. His interdisciplinary approach draws from philosophy, sociology, organizational behavior, and social psychology. Felippe is proficient in various qualitative research methods and has conducted empirical studies on companies, civil society, and virtual environments. His research has been featured at international conferences and published in esteemed journals, including the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory and the Harvard Business Review Brazil.
