Biography
Shabnam leads on Community Engagement at the University, with a priority to reach out and engage local people from socio-economically deprived areas in Dundee, and therefore embedding our university locally.
She is responsible for working with local community groups and partners to deliver long term community engagement projects, ensuring a two-way mutually-beneficial engagement with the community, whilst also supporting our staff and students to engage within the community locally. She works very closely with local organisations, such as Dundee City Council and local charities, to support community local plans and priorities.
