Biography
Ummi is from Malaysia and studied Graphic Design in our School of Art & Design, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, graduating in 2016.
About Ummi
I currently work as a design researcher and strategist at a Fortune 500 company. I love a good pun and enjoy throwing dinner parties for my near and dear.
Presently a lead design thinking mentor for Teens in AI, where I mentor young teenagers around the world on design thinking and human-centred design for their ideas to solve a challenge statement.
Reason for becoming an Alumni Ambassador
I became an ambassador because I'm passionate about all things Dundee! I am also an advocate for diversity and inclusivity in the design and tech space so hoping to inspire other minority women to consider design as a career choice.
