The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic and collegiate individual with excellent programming skills and experience with working with 3D models. The successful candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, and will be required to develop software in C++ and Java, work with 3D models and write technical reports.

Your priorities will include:

  • Planning and undertaking software design, implementation, and evaluation sessions with other PANGU developers.
  • Updating, enhancing and testing the PANGU surface modelling tools.
  • Developing 3D models of the lunar surface and spacecraft and generating simulation scenarios.

Who we're looking for:

  • An honours degree in computing or a related degree.
  • Strong software development skills in C++ and Java.
  • Experience of working with 3D modelling or Digital Elevation Models (DEMs).
  • Professional software engineering qualifications and experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to work.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
