About

Brooke Milliken

Brooke Milliken (b.1996) is a multimedia artist from Edinburgh. Her process-led practice explores how lived experiences of intersectionality inform everyday life. Currently, she is primarily interested in how domesticity and working-classness intersect. For her degree show, she has examined her immediate domestic and urban environments to create an installation which reflects on socio-economic status, social housing, and personal narrative. The works evoke a sense of place, allowing the artist to consider her own sense of place within her surroundings.
