From lip gloss and gel pens to solitude and growth, my stop-motion film delves into the vibrant spectrum of femininity. Through the sole character, Tracy, the film navigates her room and her mind, narrated by her journal entries. Tracy is layered with girly stereotypes and nuanced emotion, serving as a focal point of a visual diary that encapsulates the naive stubbornness of a self-assured young woman in denial. As she grapples with boredom, the film unfolds to reveal the measures Tracy takes to keep herself engaged exposing the deeper truths hidden beneath her facade.
