About

photograph of Siena Cameron

My work takes inspiration from everyday life, mainly focusing on people and how diverse they and their stories can be. I love taking something ordinary and creating it in a new way for people to enjoy. I often experiment with a range of mediums with my projects as I like the challenge of something new, but the methods I use the most are painting, printmaking and digital drawing. This year I have found myself favouring more traditional techniques, such as painting and screen printing to create my images, as I enjoy working with materials that allow accidents to happen, which can enhance my work in a way I didn’t expect.

Throughout this course I have enjoyed working in different disciplines, such as publishing, branding and merchandise and throughout it all I have wanted to creatine work that tells a story without it being limited to a book.
