Teaching methods include:

We also offer an extensive range of employability related services throughout the year. These include guest lectures from industry professionals and industry-run workshops. These are designed to add to your teaching and offer you more opportunity to plan for your future career.

Assessment

You will be assessed through a combination of coursework and a final assessment held at the end of each semester.

Coursework will account for between as much as 40-50% of the overall degree. This will depend on your final choice of modules.

Modules

  • Level 1 modules: As part of this course we offer two extra modules to non-native English speakers. These modules will help you to continue to develop your written and spoken English.
  • Level 5 modules: These make up your degree. You will take nine modules in total with a mix of core modules which you must take and a choice of optional modules.

You will be introduced to key finance principles that govern the behaviour of financial agents and global financial markets.

Built on the framework of modern finance theory, the module is ideal for students seeking a foundational understanding of finance in preparation for studying more specialised financial topics.

Students will develop their academic English while working with material from their core business modules.

This is an English support module for international business students.
