2D character and effects animation with an interest in horror

About

Over the past few years I have developed a love for 2D animation, I enjoy bringing life to characters and exploring organic movement through effects work. Although I enjoy a wide range of styles, I have a passion for the horror genre which I was able to bring into my contribution to the main project film I worked on called 'Nucleus'. I enjoyed contributing to the film through animating the main character and developing a range of effects including those involving blood and water.

I had the opportunity to work on two other group projects, through animating on 'Astray' I was able to further explore quadruped animation with a focus on facial expression. While working on 'Baobhan Sith' I created effects through traditional animation, I really enjoyed the outcome of these projects as I was able to explore different genres and try traditional animation for the first time.

As an animal lover, I chose to base my personal project around animating the puppy 'Patch' from Disney's '101 Dalmatians'. Through this project I was able to explore full body quadruped movement and the cute expressions and mannerisms of a puppy. I was able to incorporate effects into this project through feathers when the puppy rips open a feather pillow.
