Gemma Hanley

I am a character designer and have always love the exploration of character through illustration and animation. Bringing a character you've created to life and seeing them physically do the things you imagine them to is one of the greatest most fulfilling thing being a designer. I love exploring more whimsical and fantasy styles, Studio Ghibli being one of my biggest inspirations. Some of these designs I have created were for the student films you may be seeing at the degree show done by the wonderful students on my course. Others are some for my own film concept, which I hope some day I can bring to life.
