Sam Ritchie

I've had an interest in animation since I was a teenager. short films like Wallace and Gromit or TV shows like Steven Universe are some of my personal favourites. The idea of bringing a character to life through the medium of animation is really cool and interesting to me. My time at DJCAD has been very informative and has taught me a lot of valuable skills, many of which can be used in a professional setting, not just within an art career but anywhere. I've worked on a few films whilst being a student with "Hero's Spirit" being my main project which I did 2D animation and Backgrounds for. I look forward to continuing and furthering my career in animation! Here's hoping one day I'll get to come back and inspire future generations of animators at DJCAD.
