Teaching and assessment for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and International Business MSc

For any aspiring global business leader, understanding international business strategy is essential, this module will help develop your skills in assessing strategic decisions made by international firms, and by using the analytical tools used by successful managers worldwide.

During this module you will meet other students from different courses that share common components. This module will prepare you to get the most out of your studies and further your career after graduation in the world of business.

Learn how you can approach the challenges of entrepreneurship with insights from influential studies, allowing you to develop a strategic mindset to enhance your career.

You will use your knowledge and understanding of research and analytical skills, to study a topic relevant to your chosen programme of study e.g., international business, management, marketing, HR, economics, finance, accounting, Islamic finance. You will choose either a Pagoda internship, a consultancy project, or a literature-based search. 

This module goes beyond theory, allowing you to apply your knowledge and develop practical entrepreneurial skills. You will put the theories of entrepreneurship into practise after learning about the contemporary issues, challenges, and opportunities that exist. You will gain a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurship and the required skills.

What is an entrepreneur and what does entrepreneurship mean? Learn about these terms and how the power of entrepreneurial behaviour can benefit a range of economic, social and behavioural problems and opportunities. This module will give you a thorough understanding of the approaches, processes, and theories of entrepreneurship. 

Businesses that operate over many countries form a large part of our global economy. This module will introduce you to their structure, strategies and the impact they have on society.

Gain insights and skills for evaluating, refining, and presenting a new product, service, process, or strategy either as a spin-out or a new initiative within an existing firm

Students will develop their academic English while working with material from their core business modules.
