TREs matter because they enable secure analysis of sensitive data. Increasing use of TREs have advanced our science and health greatly. We have led or collaborated on over 340 research impacts on the University of Dundee’s Discovery portal. ​​

We support many different types of projects such as:

  • Large-scale studies (e.g. epidemiological study of 5,000 patients records)​

  • Smaller cohort and case-control studies (e.g. 500 people with diabetes aged 50+)​

  • Technical/methodological projects (e.g. 2.5 million patient records for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methodologies)​
